'VIBHA, Brahmavart' is also known as VIBHA Kanpur Prant (U.P.), established in 2000 with generous blessings of Professor Rajendra Singh ji (Rajju Bhaiya), renowned Nuclear Physicist and Teacher and registered under societies registration act in 2003. VIBHA Brahmavart is the oldest unit of Vijnana Bharati in Uttar Pradesh.

The foundation principles of VIBHA Brahmavart are :

  1. As a vibrant movement for the development of Swadeshi Sciences,
  2. As a dynamic Science Movement with a Swadeshi Spirit, interlinking traditional and modern sciences on the one hand, and natural and spiritual sciences on the other hand,
  3. As a Swadeshi Movement with modern sciences adapted to national needs,

First time we had represented VIBHA Kanpur Prant in Akhil Bhartiya Vigyan Sammelan held at NBRI, Lucknow during 16-18 Oct, 2000 in the gracious presence of Sri K.S. Sudarshan ji and Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi ji. After this program we have organized many seminars and workshops on different themes and topics given as follows

  1. Ist National seminar on "Water Management" with the support of CPCB, New Delhi and UPCST, Lucknow at HBTI Kanpur on 31st august 2003 in the gracious presence of Union State Minister of S &T Sri Bachchi Singh Rawatji and Sri K.S.Sudarshanji, Pujya Sarsanghchalak.
  2. Consecutive four workshops on Innovative low cost experiments of Science in the year of 2004, 05, 06, 07.
  3. Workshop on Vedic Mathematics in 2006 at Fatehgarh.
  4. Technical and scientific workshop in 2006 at Kanpur
  5. IInd National seminar on "Water Conservation and Environment : Scientific and Technological vision" in 2006 sponsored by CSTT & CSIR, New Delhi and UPCST, Lucknow.
  6. National seminar on Indian Contribution to science at Fatehgarh in 2009.
  7. National workshop on "Water Pollution, Conservation and Ground Water Level : Scientific and Technological Vision" at Jhansi in 2008 sponsored by CSTT, New Delhi.
  8. National Seminar on "Chemistry - Our life, Our Future" in 2011 sponsored by CSTT, New Delhi.
  9. Lecture series to celebrate birth cenetary of Prof. S. Chandrashekhar and National Mathematics year in 2012.
  10. Vigyan Shastra Pratibha Khoj (VSKP) for students of class VI to XII. It was a precursor of vvm in Hindi belt of North India, conducted from Kanpur in 2004, 05, 06 and 07.
  11. Consecutive five programs - "National Seminar on Ancient Indian Science and Technology (NSAIST) in the year of 2013, 14, 15, 16 and 2018 at IIT - Kanpur
  12. Two consecutive state camps (U.P.) of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan(vvm) 2017 and 2018 in Kanpur and Ghaziabad.
  13. Prant level camp (Kanpur prant) of vvm 2018 at Prof. H.C. Verma's 'Sopan Ashram' in 2019.
  14. VVM district winners felicitation ceremony at Kanpur, Farrukhabad and Etawah in 2019.
  15. VIBHA Summer Tinkering camp, 2019 in May-June 2019.

Recently we have started two new initiatives :

  1. VIBHA Book Bank (Book for all) and
  2. "Navacharika" (Demonstration based program of Science "Learning by Doing").

    Apart from above we are regularly celebrating National Science Day (28 Feb), National Technology Day (11 may) National Chemistry Day (2 Aug) Sir J. C. Bose Jayanti (30 Nov), VIBHA Sthapna Divas (Samarpan Divas) (21 Oct).
